Mazdaznan Health & Breath Culture (first 6 exercises)

A newly edited, illustrated and addended edition of Dr. Otoman Zar-Adusht Ha'nish's book, to be published by Open Editions, London and The Stanley Picker Gallery, Kingston.

The project is a celebration of the intimate relationship between Mazdaznan, Johannes Itten and the first Foundation course at the Bauhaus, Weimar. It is both a practical guide to performing the exercises that Itten taught at the Bauhaus and an exploration of a moment of mysticism at the heart of Modernism.

The book will include a series of illustrations showing current Foundation students demonstrating the exercises, along with a group of texts that describe the Mazdaznan faith, its diet and exercise regimes and its history.
